Happy Wednesday, SqBx Users! We have been hard at work these last few months enhancing the SqBx experience. SqBx users can see updates to SSO, printing, shipping, and more! Detailed below are some of the enhancements and updates we have rolled out in the last quarter.
SqBx Handheld Updates
For our SqBx handheld users deployed on commercial Android devices, we have updated the parsing methodology for USPS. USPS labels including eVS labels will parse correctly and populate USPS as the carrier.
SqBx Canadian Shipping Carrier Update
For SqBx shipping users in Canada, we have added ICS as a common carrier that can be used for shipping. Our shipping solution includes rating, shipping, printing labels, and voiding shipments.
Printing updates
Group Label for Manifest Printing
For SqBx customers who use the routing functionality and prefer to print a group manifest label, routing users can access this functionality by clicking on route manifest under the left tool bar. Once on the route manifest page you can click the group manifest label print button.
Updated Printing for Sites with SSO
For our SSO users, we updated printing from the receive screen as well as location label printing, and manifest/license plate printing.
FedEx Bar Code Scanning Update
SqBx updated its scanning properties for 34 character FedEx tracking numbers to ensure that SqBx correctly detects the specific service level on domestic packages.
En Francais S’il Vous Plait
For our customers using the French version of SqBx, we updated the current undelivered reports to reflect correctly over any selected time period. Additionally, we were able to correct some syntax issues on the ship request portal. French verbiage has been corrected and is up to date.
Shipping Users
SqBx has a host of shipping options to meet all of your shipping needs. We recently performed an update to the end of day shipping manifest that offers the ability to have multiple shippers available to close out on the same screen. The closeout/manifest screen now has a drop down menu where a SqBx user can select from their assigned shippers and perform an end of day manifest on a per shipper basis.
SqBx shipping users may have noticed that their SAYT field was not working in the sender field on the shipping tab. This has been updated to perform correctly and users can now Search as You Type (SAYT) senders. All fields on our encrypted shipping sites have been updated to display correctly and SAYT functionality is available in the applicable fields such as sender, ship to, and more.
The shipping report page now has a gear icon where you can add and remove columns you would like to see in dash on your shipping report. Additionally, we have enhanced the shipping report screen so you can view and sort on a variety of fields such as: the service that was selected by the person who created the shipment, the postal code that the shipments were sent to, best price available, best service, chosen price, any extra cost, and carrier tracking number. Additionally, all of these fields are now available on the CSV export file.
For shipping users that connect their shipping tab to a postal scale such as the BC60, we have updated our SubPrint application to ensure your labels print correctly. This works for our SqBx customers deploying their sites in French as well as English.
Import File Types for Asset Tracking
SqBx asset tracking users can now import their assets from Fixed Width File types in addition to traditional CSV imports. This functionality was developed to support our campus users who are currently using the FAMIS ERP solution. In addition to converting the file on a manual import, we can set it up to schedule the import automatically.
License Plating Enhancement
Creating a license plate is a useful way to create 1 master bar code to move multiple packages or items with 1 scan. Our license plate function was previously available only on the single receive screen. SqBx users can now create a license plate from the Multi-Receive screen making it faster and simpler than ever to create a license plate for shipments that need to be tracked to the same recipient.
QuickBooks Users
SqBx users that are integrated with QuickBooks, we recently adjusted the value fields to ensure proper transmission to your QuickBooks account. Just a minor tweak to ensure your operations and data exchange occur smoothly.
Enterprise Multi-Site Installations with Single Sign On
SqBx has the ability to link sites. We have a variety of SqBx customers that operate across multiple locations. We recently enhanced our SSO (Single Sign On) capabilities to allow more functionality to our clients with multiple locations. Multi-Site location users that are in a SSO environment will now be presented with a page upon login where they can select their desired location and language they would like to display (for example: English or French). We can also configure your site to allow users to be automatically logged in to their location and only have visibility of their location’s data and packages.
SqBx Handheld Updates
For users that generate a bar code with a custom SqBx tracking number, we updated the handheld mobile app for Android and iOS users to ensure that it parses the new tracking number correctly.
