SqBx would like to ring in the first month of 2018 with our latest release. Our team has been working hard this week despite the record 80-degree temperature highs here in Phoenix. For all of our snow covered customers, we wish you a speedy winter and an early spring.
What’s New?
SqBx package tracking users may have heard we are getting ready to launch a new shipping engine in SqBx that offers more flexibility than any of our previous solutions with a lower price tag. We look forward to telling you all about it soon! Don’t forget, SqBx already offers desktop shipping and can work with you to meet all of your dimensional shipping needs. Customers that ship already love the Bedal Scale integration we completed in 2017. Dimensions matter!!
For our SqBx Asset tracking users, we have improved the importer. All user fields that are enabled can be imported now whereas imports previously limited to 8 fields. This enhancement brings more power to your import and makes asset tracking easier than ever with SqBx.
SqBx manifesting was previously only available to administrative users. At the request of a customer and to add more user role flexibility, manifests can now be created by a receipt and delivery manager user. We felt it was important to meet this need for our current and future customers.
Many of you may not know that SqBx offers a customer portal. The portal allows your end recipients like customers, faculty, staff, departments, purchasing, etc. to have visibility of their inbound packages. The portal can also offer interoffice, ship request, and desktop shipping. The current release offers enhancement to the portal settings for encrypted databases. Additionally, another visibility setting is available, and the portal can be set to have cost center view as well as company view to allow increased visibility if elected.
For our Canadian customers, several enhancements were made to barcode recognition for Purolator, Canpar, and certain DHL barcodes that were misbehaving.
