In celebration of spring, SqBx is offering fresh new enhancements to its community. Our latest release offers enhancements to our mobile bar code package tracking software and our asset tracking software. SqBx Package tracking mobile has always been available on rugged commercial devices for use to deliver and capture signatures inside your organization. We know that our customers’ need options, especially as more and more organizations adopt consumer devices such as iPhones, iPads, Samsung Notes and more as part of their staff’s arsenal of tools. SqBx is proud to have been the first tracking provider to offer commercial and consumer app offerings to its customers. We are pleased to announce that our SqBx Asset tracking app will soon be available for iOS at the Apple store.
Mobile Enhancements
Here at SqBx Tracking, our mobile delivery devices and apps offer our users the latest and greatest technology on more platforms than any other provider. Recently, we made enhancements to the power of SqBx’s mobile tools to improve our customer’s workflow when they encounter a sender or recipient that is not currently located in their site repository. When receiving packages at a workstation, SqBx users have always had the ability to add a recipient or sender that is not in their database on the fly. This addition is then added to your recipient and/or sender repository and available for future use. The functionality of adding senders and recipients to your site repository on the fly via mobile device was added in a previous 2017 release. This feature has been enhanced with additional administrative functions under system settings that allows your organization’s administrator to turn this capability on or off for your mobile users. Enhancements were also made to the SAYT (search as you type) function for locations.
Custom Status Enhancements
SqBx offers a powerful custom status management tool that permits communications such as email and text. Statuses can be created and used to transfer custody of packages, create reportable categories for items such as perishable, express, mystery packages and more. With this latest release, enhancements were made to the action tab that allows users to change a package’s status. It is possible to update the location on transfer statuses so that item can be applied to a new delivery route if necessary.
Asset Tracking
SqBx offers an Asset tracking module that enables organization to track their fixed assets. Assets such as:

- Laptops
- Radios
- Cameras
- Vehicles
- Furniture
- Tools
- Office Equipment
- And more
The SqBx asset tracking solution offers mobile bar code functionality. Originally, the SqBx asset tracking app was developed to work in conjunction with our Commercial Android Mobile devices such as the Zebra TC70 and Janam XT2.
Coming Soon
