Hey SqBx users! SqBx Tracking Software is pleased to announce its upcoming release this week. SqBx continues to offer members regular software updates and enhancements as part of a continuous improvement effort. The latest release boasts several enhancements to improve your SqBx experience.
Android Enhancements
Many customers have migrated to our newest mobile version of SqBx, offered on a commercial enterprise enhanced version of Android. In anticipation of Microsoft support decline for Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, your SqBx team developed their app on the latest and greatest commercial Android offerings from Zebra, like the Zebra TC70. In our current release, your SqBx team has worked to improve the Android version of our SqBx package tracking application with several enhancements:
- Improved Routing Function – The SqBx team has improved the routing function for package deliveries on the mobile device. Our advanced routing provides a visual image of your package delivery routes and affiliated packages at each stop. Our latest release will allow routing users to have visibility of package by route, building, and stop – making our routing functionality more powerful than ever.
- Delivery Page Updates – We’ve sped up functionality when delivering to someone other than the main recipient for a package. In other words, you may want to deliver to a colleague. SqBx requires a signed by name and location during delivery. Simply type in the name of the colleague. SqBx searches as you type after 2 letters. Select the recipient from the list to populate the new recipient and location.
- Enhanced Auto Synchronization – We’ve upgraded autosync to work with Android 4.4.3. Use autosync to send and get receipts and deliveries at designated intervals to the main site making data nearly real time.
Custom Status Management
One feature that continues to set SqBx apart from other tracking solutions is our custom status management functionality. SqBx clients have the opportunity to create custom statuses to help with communication, business rules, and workflows. Examples of custom statuses commonly found in many SqBx tracking sites include:
- 1st Package Notification
- 2nd Package Notification
- Mystery Package
- Perishable
- Warning
- Attempted Delivery
- Transfer to Housing
To provide increased flexibility to status customization, we’ve updated SqBx to allow setting custom delivered/released statuses back to undelivered/not released.
